Coachella Style

Last year I blogged about my favourite Coachella/festival style picks from my favourite brands. I thought this year I would do the same again. Even though I am not heading to a festival this year I still love the style and will be wearing some of these on my holiday to Spain.

Hollister & Co
Embroidered Shorts £18.99
Embroidered Top

I really love the pretty embroidered detail on this two piece and I think the Magenta purple colour is very flattering.

H&M Coachella Collection
Crinkled Shorts
£14.99

I love the feminine Neon design and the decretive trim on these chic black shorts. They would look perfectly paired with a plain white t-shirt, and some neon face paint for the night acts.

MissGuided
Holographic Raincoat White
£28.00

You probably won't need a rain coat at sunny Coachella. However if you are heading to Glastonbury or any festival in the UK for that matter, you may want to grab one. I really like this shiny pearlescent one from MissGuided as its unique and will stand out amongst the crowd.

ASOS
Kiss The Sky Tye Dye Set
Top £25.00
Shorts £25.00

This two piece really grabbed my attention whilst I was looking through the ASOS site. I love the bright colours and  Indian inspired print. It really is a throw back to the 70's and  every women needs at least one outfit with a fringe detail in their festival wardrobe.

Let me know if your heading to any festivals this year and also don't forget to follow this blog.

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Collection

Leading cosmetic brand Urban Decay have recently teamed up with singer Gwen Stefani to release her own makeup collection. The collection includes a blush palette, eyeshadow palette, brow box, lip pencils and of course a lipstick range.
Unlike her style back when she released 'What You Waiting For' the collection is very neutral and is perfect for everyday wear.

Gwen Stefani Lipsticks
£16.00

There's 8 different coloured lipsticks in the collection which are perfect for both day and night. You are sure to find a lipstick to complement any outfit. My favourite shades are 'Ex Girlfriend' which is a pretty nude colour and '714' a deep red (pictured).

Gwen Stefani Blush Palette
£35.00

This blush palette is one of my favourite items from the collection and is certainly on my wish list. My favourite colours from this palette are 'Easy' and 'Hush' the two blush colours in the middle. Dusty pinks and shimmers really compliment my fair skin. I also think 'LO-FI' and 'OC' are perfect for contouring.

 Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette
£40.00

This is my favourite palette from the collection and is definitely at the top of my wish list. I absolutely love the mixture of matte natural colours with the pop of bright shimmers. This palette is perfect for creating a natural eye look for the day and then shimmering party look for the evening. My favourite colours from this palette are 'Bathwater', 'Stark', 'Baby' and 'Pop'.

Let me know in the comments what your favourite item from the collection is!

True Cost Documentary

I heard a few people on social media talking about a documentary called The True Cost so I decided to check it out. True Cost is a fashion and environmental documentary that goes behind the scenes of the fashion industry. It shows the audience how growing consumption of fast fashion is having an affect on developing countries, individual lives and of course the environment.
The documentary left me rather speechless and in shock. We all are familiar with sweat shops and poor working conditions in developing countries. But this documentary really delves in further to show how we as fast fashion consumers are affecting peoples lives. Not only are we affecting people's lives but we are slowly killing our planet, by buying products that are made using life threatening chemicals and non biodegradable fabrics.

I think its really important that everyone should watch this documentary. Its now available to watch on Netflix. Leave comments bellow on your thoughts of the documentary.

My Spring Very.co.uk Picks

Here are my top 5 picks from the Very.co.uk website for this years Spring Season.

V by Very
Lace Up Front Eyelet Tunic
£35

I think this tunic dress is so on trend for the spring season. It not only includes a laced up front which has been seen on the likes of Kylie Jenner, but the coral shade is perfect for these warmer evenings.

River Island
Printed Kaftan
£35

Going on Holiday? This Kaftan would look perfect on a glistening beach or by the pool. You could also dress it up for an evening. Just add some bangles, stacked necklaces and sandal heels and hit those beach bars.

Rare
Sequin Aztec Dress
£59

This Sequin Aztec print dress is gorgeous and would look perfect on a night out, at prom or even a wedding.
The Aztec print is so on trend for this season and them sequins make it a whole lot more glamorous.

Miss KG
French Caged Sandal
£80

If theres one thing I love its a neutral coloured sandal. These Miss KG Sandals would be a perfect match for nearly any outfit.  They would look perfect with both the Aztec Dress and Kaftan. The camel colour and fringe detail have been gracing the runways for the SS16 season.

River Island
Festival Style Fringed Cross Body Bag
£35

River Island never seem to fail me with their bags. I have been searching for a perfect fringed bag for a while and I think I have finally found it. This bag would be perfect for casual days out, on holiday or even a festival.
